Pirgos (The Tower) Hadjisavvas in Mitilene
The wealthy of the island would spend their holidays and vacations in this area of Akleidiou. This is only 10 minutes drive from the airport, 15 minutes walking distance from Mytilene town centre which is the capital of Lesvos, 3 minutes walking distance from the beach (clean waters to swim). Pirgos Hadjisavvas is one of only 30 towers now remaining on the island In the luscious private gardens, is a swimming pool and a Haman (Steam Room)
Next to the swimming pool, the Haman has a changing room and shower room. Soothing aromatic oils can be used in the steam room. There is a traditional and modern computerized steam generator. Next to the kitchen there is an out door barbeque where a traditional oven has been built. The good sized seating area here is perfect for outside wining and dining. The Tower (Pirgos) has three stores The ground floor consists of a fully equipped kitchen and utility room.
The kitchen has all the modern appliances that have been tastefully concealed to retain the tradition look/style. A family sized fridge freezer, a standard 4 ring cooker with oven, microwave and ample crockery for all needs. A marble table for indoor eating. They are furnished in the style of the 1812 era, which was when the house was built. These are the sitting room, dinning room and kitchen. There is also the main bathroom with a large bath and toilet.
The many windows and large balcony doors that open up on to the lush garden and swimming pool make this room nice light and airy. Here is a LCD 32 inch TV plasma, DVD player and Stereo system
